Bumblebee A/B science museum fieldtrip!
The Bumblebees headed to Gifu’s science museum for our second field trip of the year! We first watched a science demonstration show. We saw the power of air using a hairdryer to make things float such as ping pong balls and Styrofoam bowls. Then we watched suction in action using a tissue, a cup, and water. It was really interesting!
After that, the Bees headed to a room to play with sound and light before going to an exhibit of many types of butterflies and beetles.
We had lunch and then went into a room with a giant earth model and a spacesuit that we could take pictures in.
It was great to see the Bumblebees exploring their environment and interacting with science!
