Butterfly Eggs

Today the Butterflies learnt about where real butterflies lay their eggs. We made a little craft together to help explain this. Why do they lay their eggs on the underside of leaves? They do this to avoid direct sunlight and drying out the eggs, and can avoid rainwater washing the eggs away. We all had fun learning about these magnificent creatures.
