Trying iPads and picking vegetables

It was the Bumblebee’s turn this week to pick vegetables from our garden. We have peppers, eggplants, and tomatoes. Due to the hot weather, we weren’t able to play outside very much. We’re just about finished with our first section of the workbooks and starting to try some sight words. We also tried out the iPads for the first time! Our first activity was an educational math game to help with counting and number recognition. Working in pairs they took turns selecting the correct numbers. It went very well and I hope to integrate more math/reading games in the future.
